Privacy policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains how I, Rajan Gohil, an independent consultant based in Waterloo, Ontario, handle personal information collected through rajangohil.com. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What I collect

The demos and the quick check on this site run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to me or anyone else. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, arrange and hold calls, provide services you ask for, and keep the site secure. I don't sell personal information, and I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails without your consent.

Services that help run this site

A few trusted providers process information on my behalf: Cloudflare (site security and delivery), my web hosting provider, my email provider, Calendly (call booking) and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. The site's fonts are served from this site's own server, not from Google. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that country.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for normal business records, then delete them. Information about clients is kept as set out in our service agreement.

How I protect it

I use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, two-step sign-in on my accounts and encrypted connections.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent to my using it, subject to legal or contractual limits. Email hello@rajangohil.com and I'll respond within 30 days.

Questions or concerns

Please contact me first at hello@rajangohil.com. If you're not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
